An obituary is just one part of it all, but it can be a bit overwhelming. I can help you during this time by creating a personalized obituary to showcase and highlight the unique life story of your loved one.

Pre-Need Obituaries
If you are preparing funeral plans for the future, I can work with you to draft a custom creative obituary that you can share with your family, lawyer, and/or funeral home.

What I Do
I will talk with you by phone, Zoom, or Messenger and ask questions and listen to your stories so that I can get a sense of the personality and interests of the person we're writing about. I'll happily review resumes or other written material you may have, as well as a few photos. Then, I'll create a very personalized obituary that can be featured on the funeral home website for an immediate need - - or saved to be ready for future needs.

$125 (up to 300 words, including name listings)

Services Include:

• Phone interview with family representative for background, interests, and life highlights
• Editing/formatting of family name listings
• Email proofing and edits for 1 to 2 drafts
• Final obituary (MS word and PDF) sent to family representative and/or funeral home

$150 (up to 400 words, including name listings)
$200 (up to 500 words, including name listings)
